Full Moon and New Moon Astrology for October

We are living in challenging times! But following astrology and the updates of the planetary constellations in the heavens will give you a superior perspective and more conscious choices for a successful, satisfying and joyful life.

Every journey starts from where you are! Positive thinking, setting your intentions is a start but not the end of the process. We do have to acknowledge the truth of what is – because denial leaves us helpless and victimized.

Using lunar astrology is a very elegant way to become aware how your personal growth process is unfolding and to understand the ever-changing landscape of your inner world of feelings. The New Moon and Full Moon are always magical points in time. The New Moon is starting a new cycle and the Full Moon is highlighting where you are on your journey halfway through.

The Lunar astrology follows the path of the Moon through the 12 signs of the zodiac throughout the month. Approximately every 2 and a half days the Moon enters a new sign and with it a different emotional focal point and perception. The awareness of the Moon position and her waxing and waning from New Moon to Full Moon can give you more compassion with yourself and your always changing mood and feelings. The inner emotional change is constant and impermanence is part of your human life.

Moon in astrology reflects consciousness evolving through your internal process of feelings and guides you intuitively – through your gut feelings. Moon is the archetypal mother, Mahina, the inner or outer woman, nourishes you in her unique way of being.

Full Moon in Aries Oct 11

With a Full Moon things are revealed by the consciousness and light of the Sun; suppressed emotions, hidden agendas, our needs for healing and nurturing, any area related to your inner realm and feelings. The Full Moon at 18 degrees Aries invites you to be decisive in your action, clear and focused in your intentions, finding your passion and stepping up to the plate in areas you might have been holding back.

What started last month with the New Moon in Libra, now with the Full Moon in Aries we get the chance for reconciliation of the self driven Aries warrior with the needs of Libra for balance and love, integrating the masculine with the feminine.

What Is the Best Video Editing Software

It’s already common for video editors to ask if what is the best video editing software. I’ve been asking the same question also before but I already stopped doing so when I already found the best one for me.

If you ask professional video editors if what is the best video editing software, chances are they have different answers. This is because each one has his or her own preferences. This means that this question has no definite answer. It really depends upon your opinion.

Rather than telling you directly if what is the best video editing software, let me just help you choose the one that works for you by giving you the following different situations.

1. Are you a professional video editor?

If you are a professional video editor then I really recommend having a professional software as well. When we say professional software, it must have the capability of doing the task that a professional video editing can accomplish. To mention a few, it must be able to import different kinds of video formats (specially the latest ones). It must also have the effects that you wanted to achieve. There are really many features of a professional video editing software and I’m sure you know them. If you think a software can have almost everything that you need, then that might be the right one for you.

2. Are you a home video editor?

If you are still a home video editor, then you don’t have to acquire a luxurious software for now. This is because you might not need yet those features that an expensive one has anyway. You can just choose a simpler program that you can use so long as it has the basic features that you need.

3. Are you an online video editor?

There might be situations where in you just wanted to edit your videos online. If this is the case, you don’t have to grab a program really. You can just go to any online editing sites out there and edit your videos through their tools.

My Girl-O-Phobia

I had been dating this girl for a few months. I didn’t know where things were going, but I was only 18 so I didn’t really know what to expect. I had graduated high school the spring before, and my family was considering a move across the country to Colorado. It was a big point of transition in my life and I wasn’t sure a girlfriend was what I needed. I would either have to break things off or suffer through the 1200 miles between Indianapolis and Denver.

During those first months, she had already beaten me at bowling and putt-putt, visited me at work only to vomit all over the dinner she had just ordered, and even come dressed as a prostitute to a Halloween party – at church. Of course I didn’t mind any of these things, and the hooker costume was actually a good conversation starter, but she was unlike any girl I had ever dated. In all honesty, it wasn’t hard to be unlike the other girls when there were really only two before her. I wasn’t exactly a “player,” so to speak.

We were taking things easy which seemed to work out for both of us. I was working two jobs and volunteering quite a bit of my time to the church youth group, and she was still in high school. Yes, I was “robbing the cradle.” So we would only hang out a few times a week, just doing random stuff like watching movies or going to the mall. Nothing spectacularly creative on my end, but we still enjoyed each other’s company to the point where we didn’t really care what we were doing. We just liked to hang out together.

It wasn’t until February 14th rolled around that our relationship catapulted to a whole new level. It was actually a level that I hadn’t been to in any other relationship, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

As always we didn’t really have a plan for the evening, and hadn’t really thought ahead. I had no idea that restaurants everywhere were going to be absurdly packed or that I needed to dress up a little more fancy than I normally did. I kind of just “showed up.”

Do We Really Have the Power of Choice?

Life has always presented us with choices, challenges and calamities. We face each challenge or calamity with varying degrees of strengths or weaknesses. Each moment of the day, nature and time have calculated our existence based on Divine Principles that is difficult to prove; yet I can safely say that every one of us have three guiding principles that govern our lives. The three principles are Destiny, Fate and Providence. If Destiny were a pen, then Fate would have been its ink, and Providence the invisible scribe.

Using the analogy that we are shoppers here on Earth with the power to choose what we want out of life, then it seems more or less a plausible and winnable argument that we do have the power of choice. Yet, based on sacred writings we humans are somewhat controlled by a Higher Power. So, if you are to meet your soul mate today or nailed that new job it’s not solely your involvement only; it was Providence who finally scribed your life’s path so that your accomplishments, desires, woes, and heartaches are all pre-ordained and inter-twined into an elaborate spiritual cycle. This is not a defeatist philosophy, but one that is steeped in reality. Therefore, everything in life is pre-ordained or pre-willed. It does not matter what you do; it was actually meant to happen. Despite we may feel that we actually made some kind of choice. It was pre- willed to happen based on Divine Providential Principles.

I know that many of you who are reading this article are saying “NO! I have choices, I can do whatever I want to do!” And I say to you; the choices you make in this supermarket of life are pre-shelved choices for your so-call taking. It’s an illusion. Having said that, it will still be difficult for some of us to grasp the spiritual and philosophical concepts of life, living and death. It took me years of research, meditation and deep spiritual thought to actually realize that our lives are mathematically and spiritually calculated right down to our DNA and ever further. Every action we take are all interrelated to a higher energy field or purpose.

Finishing Your Canvas Print With Lacquer

Canvas prints are a great way to turn your favorite photos into fantastic works of art. This is mainly because canvas is very durable and can last for several years. Unfortunately, no matter how durable canvas is, it is also prone to damage. The image printed or drawn on it could fade, particularly if the canvas art is always exposed to sunlight.

Fortunately, there is a solution for this. Finishing your canvas art with lacquer can protect the painting from fading and scratching, thereby increasing its durability. A lacquer finish can also enhance a canvas print’s quality.

When ordering a canvas print of your favorite photo, you can ask your service provider to apply a lacquer finish to your canvas art. If they do not offer this particular service your can apply the lacquer finish yourself. The process is fairly simple. Here is how to finish your canvas print with lacquer:

First, gather all the things you will be using. You will need the following items:

Lacquer
Spray gun or brush
Or
Lacquer in a spray can

Start by preparing your work space. Cover the area you will be working on with plastic or newspaper. You should also cover other nearby items that you do not want to be spattered with lacquer. Your work space should be well-ventilated and without open flames nearby.

Pour lacquer into your spray gun. Spray guns are available at your local hardware store. You can opt to use lacquer in a spray can. However, using a spray gun has an advantage: a better, more even coverage. You can also use a brush-on lacquer. Pour a generous amount of lacquer on shallow dish. This is where you will be dipping your brush.

If you are using a spray gun, test it first by spraying it right onto the newspaper or plastic. This will give you an idea of what the gush of lacquer will be like.

Before you start spraying or painting your canvas print with lacquer, first make sure that the ink or paint of the print is completely dry. It may be a smart move to wait for about three days before applying the lacquer finish to make sure that the ink or paint has completely dried. Otherwise, the lacquer could smudge it.
